Residents of certain Rocky View County (RVC) communities might soon be engaged in doorstep conversations about flood readiness.

The organizers of the seventh annual Taste of Bragg Creek hope to whet visitors’ appetites by highlighting the hamlet’s shops and restaurants.

Rocky View County (RVC) is in need of more volunteer firefighters for its stations in Madden and Irricana, according to RVC Fire Chief Randy Smith. “We want to keep our membership in these stations up to around 20 volunteers,” he said.

Rocky View County (RVC) residents will no longer be expected to pay for dog licenses and dog tag replacements. The fees were eliminated as part of council’s approved 2019 Master Rates Bylaw, which was adopted during a regular meeting March 26.

Just in time for Easter, Mother’s Day and graduation season, the Crossfield Spring Farmers’ Market is returning to the rural community April 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crossfield Community Centre.
