The Wray family has embraced regenerative agriculture practices and short rotation grazing to ensure their land remains healthy and resilient.

The Youth Exchange program's goal is to engage in immersive experiences and build relationships with peers from diverse backgrounds.

Rocky View County hosted its annual open house on July 12 at the County Hall in Balzac. The family friendly event featured a pancake breakfast served up by RVC Councillors, facepainting, a petting zoo, information booths and chances to see County vehicles such fire engines and gravel trucks up close.

Among the items seized were four firearms, including a rifle, shotgun, carbine style rifle, and an automatic carbine style rifle equipped with an extended capacity magazine and silencer. Ammunition was also confiscated during the operation.

“It should be some really good soccer for people to come out and see,” Tereposky said.

The society presented three key requests, including reinstating the Volunteer Appreciation Program, supporting the Drive Happiness Seniors Assisted Transportation Program, and hiring a full-time Executive Director.

Poile said the tour is open to anyone who wants to know more about agriculture in the region, and, since it will take place later in the summer than previous years, will allow those coming out to experience harvest time in the county.
