Warren Wise, Beiseker resident of six years, put his name in for the councillor seat after being approached by several members of the community. He came to Beiseker with his family after 40 years in Calgary and two years in Sundre.

Ken Nicholas tried on Beiseker – and it was the perfect fit. He and his family moved to Beiseker from Calgary in 2004 for a two-year trial period and never left. He said after eight-and-a-half years, the town has won him over.
