The Nose Creek Valley Museum is hosting a car boot sale, where Airdrie residents are able to sell their no-longer-used household goodies.

“All of us from Airdrie are really excited to perform in this spectacular show and represent Airdrie when we perform,” Regier said.

At first glance, graphic novels can appear to be just comic books. But they are in fact real books, and reading them is real reading. 

Two-time breast cancer thriver/survivor Diane Martin hopes to share a positive message that there is life after breast cancer at this year’s Batting Against Breast Cancer slo-pitch tournament in Airdrie.

Initially, Mendes was supposed to make a trip to the hospital to visit Kaley in Edmonton. But when several of his tour crew tested positive for COVID-19, Kaley and Mendes shared a video call together instead.

Banded Peak School and Bragg Creek Wild collaborated in a local art walk project to promote protecting the environment in a positive way. Artwork will be on display in the community until Bragg Creek Days on July 16.

“Having Gapyeong stone in Airdrie next year will symbolize the true friendship between Canada and Korea,” he said. “Let us show our strong and positive relations with the community. Let us remember all of those veterans who paid so much sacrifice here in Airdrie." 

Despite the threat of stormy weather, the City of Airdrie put on a fireworks display at Chinook Winds Regional Park in celebration of Canada Day on July 1, including crowds of attendees.
