Beyond her passion for bocce ball, Jennifer actively participates in Special Olympics Airdrie’s bowling and swimming programs, showcasing her versatility in multiple sports.

As part of the scholarship application process, applicants had to not only demonstrate their academic excellence, but also their community leadership capabilities.

Hundreds of cyclists gathered together in Airdrie to bike 150 kilometres to raise awareness and funds for those living and affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) last weekend.

With Airdrie’s population having increased dramatically in the past 20 years, West said there is more demand for public gardening spaces these days than ever before.

“I think if COVID taught us anything it is the value, importance, and the fun that comes from getting to gather as a community,” Morros said. “It’s an opportunity for Airdrie to come together, to celebrate the community, [and] to celebrate Canada.”

The house’s sale may represent the closing of a storied chapter, but it is also a testament to the enduring spirit of community service that has shaped the family's identity throughout the years.

Reflecting on my confusion and stubbornness for exploring new avenues, I realized these traits have taught me invaluable lessons over the past decade. For that, I owe a debt of gratitude to my dad and his never-ending curiosity.

Airdrie motorists are encouraged to stop in tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. to have their vehicles checked for possible deficiencies at the Airdrie Town and Country Centre parking lot.

Airdrie's National Indigenous People's Day celebration came to Nose Creek Park on June 21. The event featured Elders and performers from the Stoney Nakoda, Tsuu T'ina, Blackfoot, and Metis peoples.
