Rocky View County hosted an open house on a sunny July 20 afternoon, offering a chance for RVC residents to learn about the many services the County has to offer.

James Jones, a 24-year-old athlete, was awarded Special Olympics Airdrie’s Athlete of the Month during a game of Bocce ball at Nose Creek Regional Park on July 18, where he accepted a certificate to mark his accomplishment.

COVID-19 visitor restrictions that were currently in place at Alberta Health Services (AHS) facilities, including acute care, ambulatory care, urgent care, and emergency care sites have officially been rescinded.

“These bursaries can make a difference for veteran’s families and offer these children an opportunity to further their educational goals,” the statement continued. 

“It's that sense of community you have, friends to ride with, places to ride to, all those explorations that you get to do on your motorcycle – that sense of ‘United We Ride.’”
