RCMP investigate identity fraud at Balzac Costco

Airdrie Rural RCMP continue to investigate an instance of identity fraud that occured Feb. 18.

According to an April 3 press release, the detachment is seeking public assistance to identify an African-Canadian man who obtained a Costco membership and tried to get approval for a Costco credit card using another person's identity at the Balzac store.

The suspect is described as having dread locks and was wearing a red, hooded sweater and a black jacket.
