The Town of Crossfield is looking for feedback from residents at the mid point of the current councilís term.

The survey, which can be found on the Townís website features questions concerning everything from communication with Town staff to the direction the municipality is moving with its capital projects.

ìWe are halfway through our terms, so we want to get a sense of peopleís mood or feelings,î said Mayor Nathan Anderson. ìI think an important aspect to being an effective representative is to stay connect with them.î

Anderson said he hopes people will log on to give their opinions beyond just picking the ranked boxes, but leaving comments explaining their responses.

ìI donít want to be an average council, I want to be above average. I want to see us move in a direction people can be excited about,î said Anderson.

ìThere are lots of sections for people to commentÖ itís nice to get constructive criticism. Criticism can be a great learning tool.î

Out of the 2,000 voters in Crossfield, Anderson hopes to see about 250 respondents before the survey closes on Feb. 29. Currently the Town has seen about 120 responses.

ìIf the community wants to go where we are going than I am the right leader. If they donít then I am the wrong guy for the job,î said Anderson.

ìMy appetite is for us to achieve big things. Does the town have the appetite to follow where we are going?î
