Four people injured in Balzac collision

Members of the Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 2 southbound just north of Calgary, Nov. 7. According to reports, a Ford Escape left the southbound lanes and collided with a concrete abutment.

Members of the Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit were dispatched to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 2 southbound just north of Calgary, Nov. 7.

According to reports, a Ford Escape left the southbound lanes and collided with a concrete abutment.

Two men, one woman and one youth, who were all occupants in the vehicle, were transported from the scene by ground ambulance to Airdrie where they received medical treatment.

The cause of the crash is yet to be determined, but road conditions are not believed to have played a factor.
