Airdrie police seeking suspects after victim was allegedly attacked and left in hospital

The Airdrie RCMP is looking for two suspects in connection with an alleged assault that occurred on Stonegate Drive in Airdrie on the evening of Oct. 8.

The Airdrie RCMP is looking for two suspects in connection with an alleged assault that occurred on Stonegate Drive in Airdrie on the evening of Oct. 8, which left the victim in hospital.

According to police, the report of assault came in at 8:48 p.m. that evening, and the early investigation indicated that the victim was in a verbal altercation with two suspects when one of the suspects pushed the victim onto the ground. As a result of the assault, the victim received serious injuries and they remain in hospital in serious condition.

The first suspect is described as female having a fair complexion, with blonde shoulder length hair. She is further described as being heavy set, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall,  30-40 years old, and was wearing jeans a white top when the alleged assault took place.

The second suspect is described as male with short cropped light brown hair, weighing approximately 280-300 pounds. He is also described as being heavy set while carrying most of his weight in the middle. His height is  6 feet 6 inches tall, and is likely 30-40 years old. He was possibly wearing a plaid jacket at the time of the incident.

The suspects’ vehicle is a  dark coloured Ford F-150-250 with running boards, and a chrome trim and bumper.
