Advanced registration opens for most schools located in Rocky View County

Advanced registration for the 2013/14 school year for Rocky View Schools starts in the middle of January.

Advanced registration for the 2013/14 school year for Rocky View Schools starts in the middle of January.

Superintendent of Schools Greg Bass said although registration is ongoing up to the first day of school, getting it done early can benefit the student.

“Pre-registration helps parents and children make a successful transition by becoming knowledgeable about the school, its culture and programs and the many registration activities held in January onward,” he wrote in an email.

In Rocky View County, nine schools are offering pre-registration events for children starting kindergarten, middle school, high school or entering into the French Immersion program.

To register a student, parents are asked to call their child’s designated school. If a parent is uncertain of which school that is, call 403-945-4009.
