As Airdrie and the rest of the province adjust to life without restrictions, the city has reported eight active cases of COVID-19, with the fully vaccinated count nearing 50 per cent.

Airdrie's number of COVID-19 cases continued to drop over the weekend, with 172 active cases as of May 31 – a drop of 91 cases from May 27. It is the city's lowest number of active cases since before the Easter weekend in early April.
