Many of the most notable members of Airdrie's arts community gathered for an evening of celebration and fun at Bert Church Live Theatre on Sunday evening.

This year's Mayor's Night of the Arts was hosted with great humour and aplomb by Deputy Mayor Al Jones. The event recognized some of Airdrie's greatest artists and arts patrons, and featured performances by the Airdrie Scots and Pipes, Nose Creek Players, Haley Isabel, the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra String Ensemble, the Airdrie Community Choir and Ambition Performing Arts.

The 2024 award winners on the night included: iGlitch! Gaming Lounge, which won the Vitreous Glass Patron of the Arts Award, Anthony Burbidge, who won the Arts Educator Award, Haley Isabel, who won the Emerging Artist Award, Sabastian Cassidy, who won the Youth Arts Award, Kyle McKearney, who won the Professional Artist Award, and Tina Petrow, who won the Champion of the Arts Award.
