Library Link: Recommending 15 holiday reads this Christmas

As Airdrie Public Library’s (APL) programmers take a much-needed break to rest and prepare for our 2022 winter session, we would like to share 15 books from the annual essential holiday reading list, put out by the mainstay of reader-led book recommendations, Goodreads.

As Airdrie Public Library’s (APL) programmers take a much-needed break to rest and prepare for our 2022 winter session, we would like to share 15 books from the annual essential holiday reading list, put out by the mainstay of reader-led book recommendations, Goodreads.

We don’t necessarily support one reading list over another, and there are many out there, but libraries have found Goodreads to be of note, simply because the list reflects the books that readers enjoy.

The list includes any book if it’s set during a holiday season or celebrates something about a particular holiday.

If you’re looking for a picture book for your children, stories about dysfunctional extended families, or a steamy under-the-mistletoe romance, the Goodreads list has it all.
