The Airdrie Public Library held its most successful paint night ever on Dec. 16, according to the organizers. Paint nights are held four times a year to help raise money for the APL. The reason for the success was artist Russell Thomas' captivating gnome designs, which he got painters of all ages to try to produce their own versions of.
