RVC is once again holding its annual family-friendly open house on July 12 in Balzac.

Come one, come all – Rocky View County (RVC) will be hosting its annual open house and pancake breakfast on July 12 at the municipality’s headquarters in Balzac.

The event is free for all RVC residents who wish to come out and take part.

Alongside the free flapjacks, the open house will also feature live music, face-painting, family-friendly interactive displays from several of RVC’s departments, and a petting zoo.

“I encourage residents to bring their family and friends as the open house promises to be full of fun and entertainment for all ages,” said Reeve Crystal Kissel in a statement released to local media. “And you might catch me and fellow councillors showcasing our pancake flipping skills. Come on out, say ‘hi,’ and have some fun.”

The event will take place just outside the County’s municipal hall, but will be moved inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

The County Hall is located in east Balzac at 262075 Rocky View Drive, just north of Highway 566 and east of CrossIron Mills shopping mall.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 12 p.m.
