Airdrie residents contributed a total of 2,041 shoe boxes to Samaritan's Purse' Operation Christmas Child in 2022. The international Christian disaster relief organization delivered shoe boxes filled with toys, school supplies, and personal care items to children in need in both Costa Rica and Senegal.
In total, Alberta residents packed 88,717 shoe boxes last year, which is an increase of 11 per cent from 2021's total of 80,121. Albertans can still pack shoe boxes for children in need by visiting packabox.ca
