Varied weather forecast for Rocky View County this weekend

Rocky View County will see a variety of summer weather over the weekend, according to AccuWeather.

Cochrane will see thunderstorms in spots on Saturday, which will see a high of 20 C. Skies will become partly cloudy overnight, as the temperature drops to 6 C. On Sunday, skies will remain partly sunny, with a 55 per cent chance of showers. In the evening, the thermostat will fall to a chilly 4 C.

Afternoon thundershowers are on the way for Beiseker on Saturday, along with a daytime high reaching 22 C before hitting a low of 9 C overnight. Skies will be partly cloudy heading into Sunday, which will also bring possible thunderstorms and showers along with a high of 19 C. Overnight, the cloud cover will stick around and rain is likely as the temperature drops to 8 C.

Saturday will also bring thunderstorms to the Langdon area. The daytime high will hit 22 C, and skies will clear up a bit overnight as the temperature reaches a low of 9 C. On Sunday, partly sunny skies will continue, along with a high of 18 C and an overnight low of 8 C.

In the Springbank area, afternoon thunderstorms are likely as the temperature tops out at 20 C. In the evening, the thermostat will dip to a low of 8 C and skies will remain mainly clear. The high for Sunday is 17 C, with intervals of sun and cloud becoming overcast into the evening. The overnight low will hit 6 C.
