Rocky View County to see warmer weather on Wednesday

Breezy conditions and warmer temperatures are on the way for Rocky View County on Wednesday, according to AccuWeather.

Chestermere will see mostly cloudy skies, with a high of 7 C and wind gusts of more than 20 kilometres per hour. The cloud cover will persist into the evening as the temperature drops to a low of -2 C (or -7 C, with the wind chill).

With a high of 9 C, Beiseker's forecast calls for "rather cloudy" conditions, but with less wind than in other locations across the area. Skies will clear briefly early in the evening, followed by heavier cloud cover later as the thermostat falls to -3 C overnight (or -5 C with the wind chill).

Wind gusts of up to 24 kilometres per hour are expected in the Cochrane Lake area, which will also see a high of 9 C and plenty of cloud cover. The wind will persist into the evening, with an overnight temperature reaching a low of -4 C (or -9 C with the wind chill).

In Bragg Creek, residents can plan for cloudy skies and a high of 8 C, dropping to a low of -3 C (or -5 C with the wind chill) overnight.
