Rocky View County to see snow on Tuesday

Flurries are expected across Rocky View County on Tuesday, according to AccuWeather, with some areas likely seeing up to a foot of snow.

In Langdon, the daytime high will hit -4 C (-6 C with the wind chill), with sunny skies becoming cloudy as flurries begin. A centimetre or two may accumulate overnight, as the temperature drops to a low of -11 C (-15 C with the wind chill). 

Irricana will also see flurries starting as clouds roll in through the day, with a high of -3 C (-6 C with the wind chill) that will cool to an overnight low of -11 C (-14 C with the wind chill). Skies will remain overcast through the night.

Snow is expected in Crossfield, along with cloudy skies and a high of -4 C (-8 C with the wind chill). Overnight, two to four centimetres of snow will accumulate as the thermostat dips to a low of -12 C (-18 C with the wind chill).

Heavier snow is on the way for Bragg Creek, which will see a "thick cloud cover" and a high of -5 C (-6 C with the wind chill). The temperature falls to a low of -13 C (-18 C with the wind chill) overnight, with up to 12 centimetres of snow predicted to stay on the ground.
