Light rain is on the way for parts of Rocky View County on Friday

Friday will bring clouds and showers to much of Rocky View County, according to AccuWeather.

Today brings a chilly and cloudy morning to Bragg Creek, then times of clouds and sun this afternoon with a couple of showers and a forecast high of 8 C. The 60 per cent chance of precipitation and a 20 per cent of thundershowers are only expected to bring 1 mm of rain to the area.

Friday starts with clouds, then sun and clouds in afternoon and a forecast high of 9 C in Madden. A 60 per cent chance of precipitation is expected to produce spotty showers and 1mm of rain accumulation.

Partly cloudy in the overnight with a low of -1 C.

After a cloudy start to the day in Irricana, sunshine returns as the day progresses and brings with it a forecast high of 12 C.

Mainly clear in the evening, with a low of -3 C.

Langdon residents can expect variable clouds with a passing shower this afternoon and a forecast high of 10 C.

Partly cloudy in the evening and a low of -1 C.
