Boil water advisory issued for Town of Irricana

Alberta Health Services is calling the measure “precautionary” due to the the depressurization of the Irricana water distribution system, and is in effect until the safety of the water can be assured.

A boil-water advisory was issued for Irricana on Feb. 28.

A boil water advisory has been issued for the Town of Irricana.

The Alberta Health Services order was issued for the Irricana Waterworks System, and came into effect, on Feb. 28.

According to the advisory, residents of Irricana must boil their water until further notice. Alberta Health Services advises that all water for domestic water purposes, including drinking water and baby formula preparation, teeth-brushing, etc., the water should be brought to a full boil for one minute before use.
