Dear editor, In my opinion, given the nearly $90 million investment in the soon to be completed 40th Ave. interchange, this redundant investment in Balzac should be deferred until Airdrie's regional hospital is a reality. 

How attentive to the needs of an adopted riding's residents can a candidate really be, at the end of the day?

Freedom of the press has been a right enshrined in law and society since Canada’s inception. It is also enshrined in our 1982 Constitution. In recent years there have been attempts to infringe on those rights in Canada.

Hearing differing comments and perspectives begs the question – who to trust? In the world of political journalism, that's often what it boils down to. 

Dear editor, I read Ms. Mosley’s letter to the editor with interest and abhorrence last week. I am sorry she had such a bad experience while already dealing with a stressful situation. However, I do not think this demonstration of rudeness is a unique situation, as I am continually astonished at the discourteous, illegal and lack of safe  driving in and around this city.

Dear editor, As a resident of the steadily growing community of Crossfield, I was frustrated with the provincial budget announced by the UCP government on Feb. 28.

I never expected to be leaving the publication so soon, but life never goes exactly the way you plan it to. What I have found is it’s the unexpected twists and turns in life that make it worthwhile. 

Dear editor, I personally support the government's budget and the majority of Airdrie voters selected our UCP MLA in the last election. Angela Pitt is our elected official and spokesperson for the provincial government, yet the City View has not recently posted articles written by her.

It's been a dangerous time to be a Canadian police officer as eight have been killed in the past six months.

Dear editor, As the old saying goes, "If we don't remember the lessons of the past, we are doomed to repeat them." Do we really want another Notley repeat?
