February 11, 1947 - November 16, 2023

It is with great sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Clark Leonard Haase at the age of 76 years.

Clark was born on February 11, 1947, in Calgary and raised in the Beiseker area.  Clark was a skilled mechanic where he worked at several mechanic shops until he opened his own business in Irricana which he operated until the 1990s.

Clark and Shelley moved to Carstairs in the late 1990s to be closer to his mom Martha (nee BERRETH) Martin.  Clark and Shelley worked tirelessly, enduring the ups and downs of starting a new business in waste management control. Together they grew it into what has become a thriving legacy today.  Clark loved his classic cars, going to car shows, his dogs and sharing with his dearest friends.  He was a talented organ player who entertained many throughout the years.  His sense of humor, optimistic personality and smile was contagious to all he knew and met.

He is survived by his devoted wife Shelley Haase, sons, Chad (Stacey) Haase and Jason (Kathleen) Haase and daughter, Raelene Praeker, and his grandchildren Grace and Chloe Praeker, Nathan and Kyle Haase.  Clark was the youngest of 8 children and survived by his sisters, Ruth (Eric) Wolf, Burnetta (Ron) Decembrini, Shirley Cavanaugh, and brother Glenn (Patricia) Haase along with numerous nieces and nephews.   He is predeceased by his sister Myrna (Al) Templeton and brothers Donald Haase and Raymond Haase.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
