The family of Erin McAdam is heartbroken to announce that Erin passed away in Phoenix,

Arizona, on March 31, 2024, at the age of 39.

Erin is survived by her husband, Jeff, and sons Kael (10) and Ashton (7) of Parkland County,

Alberta. She is also survived by her loving parents, Doug and Patti Milner, of Crossfield, sister Tricia (Jason), nieces and nephews, her Nana Patricia Bills, Godparents Gladys and Kim Butler.

Many other friends and extended family members mourn her death.

Erin graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts and the Canadian Local

Government Managers designation and had a successful career working in Agriculture for

Municipal Government. Her longest-serving role was at Parkland County. The county was where she met her husband, Jeff; they were married on the island of Maui in 2010 with family and

friends in a beautiful service on the beach. Erin was a thoughtful and caring mother to her two boys, Kael and Ashton; she was very proud of how they were becoming honorable young men.

Erin had a passion for Hawaii, visiting nine times. She loved the ocean, tropical plants, flowers, and sea life. Erin was proud of her agricultural roots and had a great love for plants (especially tropicals) and animals (particularly fuzzy ones). She especially loved Christmas, decorating the Christmas tree, and wearing colorful Grinch apparel (Dr. Seuss was her favorite author). Erin was an intelligent, elegant, and tenacious woman who brought much joy into the lives of those who loved her. We are going to miss our beloved, beautiful Erin and will treasure the love, time, and memories we were able to share with her.
