COLES, Gail Joan (nee Tink)
November 4, 1951 – September 25, 2020
Gail Joan Coles (nee Tink), beloved wife of Maurice Coles of Airdrie, AB passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 68 years.
She was the loving mother of Monte (Iva) Coles of Calgary and Danny (Laura) Coles of Airdrie. She will also be dearly missed by her four grandchildren; her mother Margaret Tink, sister Debra Tink and brothers Robert and Steven Tink. She was predeceased by her father Milton Tink and grandson Braiden Nathaniel Diamond Coles.
Gail was born and raised in Montreal then moved to Alberta in 1984 with her husband and two young children. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a dear friend to many. Her world was centred around her family and was always ready and available to help a friend in need. She loved to go and play the slots and meet new and interesting people while doing so.
A Visitation was held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (Prairie View Chapel, 1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service was held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation Telephone: (403) 955-8818.
