VALMALENCO, ITALY — Canadian Mikael Kingsbury won gold Saturday at a World Cup men's dual moguls freestyle ski event. The native of Deux-Montagnes, Que., was competing for the first time since claiming an Olympic silver medal at the Beijing Games.

HEERENVEEN, Netherlands — Canadian Laurent Dubreuil captured a silver medal in the men’s 500-metre event Saturday at a World Cup speedskating event. The native of Levis, Que., posted a time of 34.
