Thursday will see temperatures in Airdrie warm up again (despite an early morning wind chill of -19 C), as a chinook brings a high of 7 C and a mix of sun and cloud to the city. Winds will persist, however, continuing to blow at up to 15 kilometres per hour throughout the day.
In the evening, cloudy periods are predicted, and the overnight low could fall to -5 C.
