No one injured in single vehicle rollover on highway

A pickup truck pulling an asphalt-mixer trailer rolled into the centre median and continued across Highway 2 about two kilometres north of Airdrie on June 7 at around 7 p.m.

There were two men in the vehicle at the time of the collision, neither sustained any injuries.

The cause of the accident is believed to be due to mechanical failure.

Grow op busted

Airdrie RCMP assisted in the execution of a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a marijuana grow operation at a rural residence west of Airdrie on June 4 near Golden Rod Hall.

Members of the Airdrie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, General Investigation Unit and general duty officers partnered with the Calgary Combined Special Enforcement Unit – Green Team South to remove 455 marijuana plants from the residence worth an estimated value of $60,0000.

The Calgary Emergency Response Team was deployed for the initial take down and arrest.

The suspects names have not been released.
