After last weeks spring snow, it looks like Airdrie will be in for some warmer weather this week as temperatures are set to rise to the double digits.
According to Environment Canada, there is a 30 per cent chance of showers on Sunday, with a high of 10 C, that will increase to a high of 11 C by Monday. Things will cool off a degree or two coming into the work week, with the daily highs from Tuesday through Thursday for the Airdrie area being 9 C, 8 C, and 11 C.
Environment Canada predicts a 40 per cent chance of showers on Tuesday and a mix of sun and cloud on Thursday. There could also be some rain and snow mixed on Friday, with that daytime high being 11 C.
Temperatures are expected to cool off at night though, with Environment Canada forecasting a low of -10 C on Sunday night.
The average high for this time of year is typically 9.1 C, with the average low being -3.9 C, according to Environment Canada.
