Wednesday brings sunny weather back to Airdrie – along with the potential for more thunderstorms.
While fog patches forecast to accumulate overnight, this should all dissipate early in the morning on Wednesday as the temperature warms to a high of 19 C. The skies will offer a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day, with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon, gusting winds and the possibility of thunderstorm activity. The evening will remain partly cloudy, with winds gusting up to 40 kilometres per hour and an overnight low of 10 C.
