Airdrie RCMP are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Fas Gas Plus on Main Street in downtown Airdrie Dec. 12.
"On Dec. 12, 2020, at approximately 9 p.m., a lone male entered the Fas Gas convenience store and approached the employee at the till," an RCMP press release stated. "The suspect pointed a firearm at the employee and then fled the business on foot. Police Dog Services were engaged, however the suspect was not located."
According to the press release, the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a light-skinned male in his 20s, approximately five feet seven inches tall with an average build.
