Airdrie RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying two men responsible for an assault as well as an attempted robbery with a firearm in the neighbourhood of Luxstone.

The detachment said on Jan. 24, at approximately 4:15 p.m., they received a report of an armed robbery near St. Martin de Porres High School. According to RCMP, the report was specifically from the townhomes along Luxstone Boulevard and the Luxstone Senior Living complex.

The suspects are also believed to have been involved in a second assault that took place shortly after this incident, according to RCMP.

The first suspect is described having "medium" coloured skin, standing 5'6" with a slim build. He had a “slit” eyebrow, which means there was an intentionally shaved gap in one of his eyebrows, and he was wearing a beige puffy jacket, a black ski mask, and black Nike Air Force shoes.

The second suspect has a similar physical description, and was reported to be wearing all-black clothing.
