Mayor Peter Brown's annual Leadership Prayer Breakfast is slated to return to Airdrie on May 3 after a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event, hosted by the City of Airdrie, will take place from 7:15 to 9 a.m. at the Town and Country Centre and will feature guest speakers Matt Palsky, operations manager at Bearspaw Christian School, and a youth speaker from the Airdrie Christian Academy.
The theme of the event will focus on endeavoring to "Plant Seeds of Hope in Airdrie," through faith-based initiatives.
Those interested in purchasing a ticket for the event are encouraged to visit eventbrite.ca, or follow updates on the Facebook event page. Tickets for general admission are $20, with special pricing for seniors 65 years and older ($15 each), and youth 25 years and under ($10 each).
Proceeds from the event will go to the Airdrie and District Victims Assistance Society (ADVAS) in support of those affected by domestic violence and other crimes.
