Residents and staff of Luxstone Manor surprised Airdrie RCMP, Municipal Enforcement and all detachment staff Oct. 9 with a "Heroes" luncheon.
A press release from Airdrie RCMP stated the residents wanted to give thanks for the continued dedication, support and compassion shown to their companions and all of Airdrie during what has been difficult year.
The special delivery included sandwiches and wraps, as well as cookies and desserts.
"It was very much appreciated by everyone at the detachment," the release stated.
