Pamela Roberts Keefe, fourth annual Greg Roberts Memorial Walk/Run march leader, was determined to create awareness for myeloma, a little-known and incurable cancer of the plasma cells, and in doing so honour her brother who lost his battle against the cancer.
Together with family, friends, and the community she raised more than $15,000 to help ensure that research continues to stay one step ahead of the disease and new drug therapies continue to be developed until a cure is found.
The fourth annual walk/run was held Sept. 8 at East Lake Regional Park.
