Letter: Where does Angela Pitt stand on the UCP's policies?

Dear editor, I hope that this letter to the editor will encourage Angela Pitt to speak up and tell us where she fits into the UCP.

Dear editor,

Many years ago, I was told that writing a letter to your MLA could be a useful way to express your views. So, after the last provincial election, I began writing letters to Angela Pitt, who had been elected the UCP's MLA for my constituency, Airdrie-East.

I asked her many questions and expressed my views on various political issues. She replied to most of my correspondence except for the last one that I wrote six weeks ago.

In this last letter, I asked her what her views were on the various aspects of health, education, and the Sovereignty Act within Alberta. I stressed that people in Airdrie-East need to be aware of her views before the May provincial election. I implied that we need to know this information very soon so that we can begin to make wise choices as voters.

Now that the COVID panel has come into existence, I would also like to know her feelings about how members for it are chosen.

I hope that this letter to the editor will encourage Angela Pitt to speak up and tell us where she fits into the UCP.
