Letter to the Editor: Having issues with Brett McKay's drought/ climate change article

Every time I hear "climate change...because of the burning of fossil fuels" irritates me and countless others, because it is a false narrative.
LETTERS

Brett McKay's opinion (article: “Short-term drought harder on grasslands than previously thought,” April 2 edition) is funded and pushed by Trudeau/ Gov of Canada.

Every time I hear "climate change...because of the burning of fossil fuels" irritates me and countless others, because it is a false narrative.

As such, it compels me to stress that burning of fossil fuels has very little, if no effect on climate change, which has been occurring second by second, since the formation of this planet and its atmosphere, 4.5B years ago. Every media outlet pushes this nonsense, because they are purchased by Trudeau and his supporters, with their $660M Liberal Socialist media fund (Local Journalism Initiative).

The latest hysterical nonsense they are pushing is the rotation of the planet is slowing down because of human activity. That 18 hour days during the dinosaur era vs 24 hour days today is increasing because of us and that we will have to observe more "leap seconds" as a result.

Will Brett McKay be pushing that nonsense too, since he is pushing Trudeau's climate change hoax? Stop pushing his lie based hysterics.

(Trudeau)  has created a poverty stricken Canada by claiming his taxes will save the planet and that more of his taxations will save humanity. He and his supporters have become ultra wealthy, as most Canadians can't pay rent, eat and stay warm at the same time.

Do everyone a favor and stop listening to Trudeau. His only accomplishment in life is being a part time, temporary substitute, narcissist, drama teacher.

Everyone, including Brett McKay, needs to treat Trudeau as such.

Richard Cox,

Rocky View County
