Your survey question in the Jan. 7 edition of the Airdrie City View limited a citizen's upset response to news of MLAs travelling internationally. Premier Kenny disavowed responsibility for all other levels of government.
Employees in other sectors of municipal, county and provincial positions should be held accountable as well. We taxpayers continue to pay our taxes on severely reduced incomes, allowing publicly paid employees to receive their guaranteed paycheques and vacation allotments.
Airdrie Mayor Peter Brown, we ask you to please take time to reach out to us Airdronians to let us know that you are leading by example, as well as your small army of municipal staff.
