Dear editor,
This message is for Angela Pitt. I am an Airdrie resident. I need to say how disappointed I am in you and Drew Barnes for standing on your righteous soapbox with indignation and using the "Hitler" comment as a reason to quit the End the Lockdowns coalition.
Really? You just cut off your nose to spite your face. So when did it become all about you? Because he made an inappropriate comment, you chose to reject the whole movement? Is this not bigger than you and Drew? Have you lost your focus, and the meaning of the coalition's purpose? Or was this a way for you to publicly put distance between yourself and the movement due to outside influence or pressure? Did you take advantage of a moment in time? I find your reason to reject the coalition ridiculous and petty.
If you disagree with what was said, then say so, but don't use it as an excuse to quit when the pressure is on.
