OHL Roundup: Donoso, 67's cruise past Colts 4-1

BARRIE, Ont. — Max Donoso had a stellar 36-save performance to help lead the Ottawa 67's to a 4-1 victory over the Barrie Colts on Thursday.

Brady Stonehouse, Frankie Marrelli, Luca Pinelli and Jack Matier scored for Ottawa (31-7-1-1), which has won two in a row and eight of its last 10.

Tyler Savard was the lone scorer for Barrie (23-11-4-2). Anson Thornton made 24 saves.

The 67's scored four unanswered goals in the final two periods after going down early. Savard scored 12:07 into the first to get the Colts on the board first. 

After Matier's goal at 5:06 of the second evened the score, Pinelli got things going 1:34 into the third. The final frame was the lone period Ottawa outshot Barrie (11-7).

WINDSOR, ONT. — Jacob Maillet had two goals, including one short-handed, and an assist as the Windsor Spitfires downed the Erie Otters 6-3.

Sam Alfano, Pano Fimis and Carey Terrance scored one apiece for Erie (13-22-1-3).

NORTH BAY, ONT. — Jorian Donovan scored the game-winning goal 20 seconds into overtime to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs past the North Bay Battalion 4-3.

Patrick Thomas, Nick Lardis and Cole Brown added the others for Hamilton (18-18-4), which won its third in a row.

Matvey Petrov had a hat trick for North Bay (29-10-1-1), which had its six-game winning streak snapped.

Alex Assadourian and Kevin He replied for Niagara (8-23-6-1), which has lost eight in a row.
