CALGARY — Police in Calgary have charged a man with manslaughter in the death of a two-year-old girl.

Olivia Hayden was rushed to hospital in September 2022 and was later pronounced dead.

The toddler's death was deemed a homicide following an autopsy and a lengthy police investigation.

Winston Campbell, who is 45, was arrested Wednesday.

He is scheduled to appear in court Friday.

Police say the accused knew the child, and her death was not random.
