The Cochrane Lions won the Calgary Bantam Football Association’s (CBFA) Division III Championship with a 40-20 win over the Airdrie Storm, Nov. 5, at Shouldice Park in Calgary. Cochrane scored three touchdowns in the second half to take away Airdrie’s 14-8 lead and win the game. The Lions will now play the Rocky Jr. Rebels in the provincial playoff semifinals. The game took place in Rocky Mountain House, Nov. 12, after press time.
