Carter Cissell, also of Crossfield, placed ninth with a 164, while Airdrie’s Cory Kohut was 14th with a 190.

Cissell, 13, also won the Maple Leaf Junior Gold Tour’s stop at the Olds Central Highlands Golf Club, with a two-round 161 on June 12. Balzac’s Mathias Labonte placed 17th with a 194.

Cole Kohut also placed 13th, with a 106, in the one-day U.S. Kids West Qualifier, June 5 at Collicut.
