The City of Airdrie honoured its 2023 Elite Athletes with a special ceremony at Genesis Place on Thursday evening.
The 2023 honourees, Brooke Mauro, Makenna VandenBrink and Farah Walker, were announced at an Airdrie city council meeting earlier this year, but a special plaque unveiling ceremony was held for them Mar. 28 as the three local athletes were officially added to the Genesis Place Elite Athlete Wall.
