Wildrose leader Danielle Smith is returning to the Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills constituency for a special event, Jan. 24.
The fundraising event, which will be held in the Fine Arts and Media Centre at Olds College from 6 to 9 p.m., will feature a roast beef dinner, silent auction and speeches by Smith and area candidate Bruce Rowe.
Smith will be speaking about several subjects including health care, property rights and municipal funding.
ìThese are topics of vital importance to our riding,î said Rowe. ìThey are also topics that have been routinely ignored by the PC government.î
The event marks Smithís third official visit to the constituency in a year.
On Aug. 5 she met with voters in Crossfield, Didsbury, Carstairs, Three Hills and Olds as part of her 22-day, 2,200-kilometre tour of Alberta. She also attended an Olds College fundraiser in April.
ìThe fact that she continues to return to our riding, Albertaís agricultural heartland, underscores our partyís commitment to represent local peopleís wishesÖî said Rowe.
