Dear editor, Thank you Crossfield and congratulations to mayor-elect Nathan Anderson.
Running for mayor, has for me, been a most rewarding experience. Meeting so many of our residents and listening to their concerns, experiences and visions for Crossfield, is by itself a tremendous success and a win-win experience. My only regret is not to have been able to meet with all of our residents and business partners.
Having said that, now is time to congratulate mayor-elect Anderson and all members of council for their wins on Oct. 18. Now that we have a new mayor and councillors, we must unite as a community and support our new council. Much needs to be accomplished and it is best for us to meet our goals as a strong and united community.
Only a strong and united community can effectively lead its council and enable council to successfully proceed forward and achieve our community goals.
On this note, I personally intend to support and work with our new council. To do any different would be counter productive to our community goals. As such, I ask of you to do the same. Together, we can demonstrate that out town’s motto “Progress through Friendship” is alive and well.
