Dear editor,
I wanted to take a moment to thank the City of Airdrie and its snow removal crews for the top-notch job they did in the snowstorms in recent weeks.
Our main streets were plowed and sanded very quickly after the snow was flying, which made for safe commutes for our city’s drivers.
In addition, I have never seen the type of quick response that I did to the plowing (and removal) of the paths in our parks, and snow banks on our side streets.
I live in an area off the main roads, and the snow was bad enough that I had actually run out of places to put it.
I challenge you to show me another city this size (with taxes this low) that delivers that kind of service.
Kudos, Airdrie, you did a great job.
