RE: "Great breakfast," letter, July 30.
Dear Editor,
The Rocky View County (RVC) breakfast could not be attended by the sanctioned councillors. Their sanctions restrict them from all interactions outside of council meetings. That is why all the ratepayers of three divisions have no democratic representation.
While Kevin Jones is correct that the breakfast would have been the usual ideal place to network with the folks, the sanctions will be in place for more than a year to stop all such normal activity.
Such a shame that one-third of the population of RVC has no representation – unless of course they happen to have an interest in one agenda item in front of council.
