Dear editor, Election evening was an exciting time to hear what the voters had to say. Now that the ballots have been counted and re-counted it’s business as usual at City Hall with four new faces.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my friends and supporters for trusting and believing in me enough to vote for me. You have all touched my life in a way that you will never know. It would have been an honor to represent you. It is now time for me to focus on the World Arm Wrestling Championships in Nevada and get back to a somewhat regular family lifestyle.
I would like to wish the new city council all the best for the next three years and to tell you I will still be occasionally in the gallery watching the proceedings.
For now and always, ‘I’m Pulling for Airdrie!’
